More shade than light, more obstacles than space, the stage is a delicate place, where the photographer should be invisible to keep the magic going. Despite of these restrictions, I try to catch a glance, a note, a musical gesture to show the pleasure and the emotion a musician can feel in the urgency of playing and in the sensual relationship with his instrument. These portraits of musicians I saw through my lens, I'm eager to share them with jazzfans, fine art-lovers or just curious people.
